Formed from the ashes of
Galway rock band Jinx, /charis came into being on August 1998. Blending
innovative acoustic guitar with raw vocal sound.
They have built a solid successful sound, which has been featured in Dublin's "Temple Bar Music Centre" and "Tivoli Theatre". Charis are a fine example of the original music emanating from Galway presently. Charis would like to thank family and friends, especially Michael Fitzgerald, John McCann and Aidan Reade.
