Set in the beautiful County Galway region of Connemara, Kylemore Abbey and Lough attract many visitors. Part of the 3century old Abbey is now an
international girl's school.. The slopes of the Twelve Bens rise dramatically behind the castellated abbey - built for nuns of the historic Order of St. Benedict.
Also to be seen at the far end of the Lough is a recently restored chapel bult by the family of benefactors of the abbey.
