Connie and Frank Killeen
As owners of An
Tintean, Frank and Connie Killeen live on the premises and assure you of
personal attention at all times, whether it's to start your day with a
smile and hearty breakfast or to welcome you back after a day's touring to
enjoy a drink by the fire.
Frank and Connie have owned An Tintean since 1994, when
they moved to Doonbeg, the quiet village where Frank was born and
raised. If Connie's accent doesn't quite sound like the locals',
it's because she was born and raised in Georgia, in the south-eastern
United States.
One of the issues of "Links" magazine features the Doonbeg Golf
Club Course and states that "...the course is the most significant
happening of modern times." Writer, Jeff Williams, quotes "Connie Killeen,
a transplanted Georgian who runs the An Tintean bed and breakfast with her
husband, Francis. "It means so much to this little community. It
means more jobs and more people stopping here, not just driving through."" |
