Project 1: Kildare Route Project

Client: Iarnrod Eireann

Description of Services carried out:

In this project we were commissioned to carry out two distinct operations. Firsly we carried out an extensive collection and collation of existing utility information from all relevant services providers within the rail corridor from Heuston Station to Hazelhatch Station. This information was analysed and overlayed onto existing topographical drawings, producing a complete set of current information record drawings. Secondly we were required to carry out Services Location Surveys at each over bridge along the rail corridor and at some specified areas within the site boundary. This involved surveying the area to determine the location, alignment and depth of all buried utilities and providing drawings of findings.

Project 2: Dublin Airport Terminal 2, Airside Survey Works

Client: MACE

Description of Services carried out:

In this project we were required to carry out a Services Location Survey in a highly controlled environment of a working airfield. We were tasked with carrying out the work in off-peak times so as to facilitate the on-going daily business of the Airport. This meant that much of the work was carried out under airfield escort at night-time. The area of the site was comprised of apron, taxiways and aircraft stands adjacent pier C. Ground Penetrating Radar and Radio Detection equipment was used whilst also opening and surveying of each manhole and access chamber within the site boundary.

Project 3: Dublin Airport Campus -Landside Survey

Client: RPS/ DAA

Description of Services carried out:

In this contract we were required to carry out a Services Location Survey of the Land-side campus of Dublin Airport. Prior to ground-works commencing on the 40 hectare site, the survey was carried out to determine the location, alignment and depth of all buried utilities. The located services were then surveyed and plotted onto existing topographical drawings for presentation to the client and to assist in the design process.

Project 4: The Quays Shopping Centre, Newry.

Client: CSS

Description of Services carried out:

In this project we were required to carry out a Services  Location Survey to establish the location and depth of all underground utilities within the 20 acre site and surrounding roads of the Quays Shopping Centre, Newry. The area comprised mostly car parks and roads. Traffic management plans and procedures were set in place to facilitate the road-works. Manhole Surveys, GPR Scans and Radio Detection Passes were utilised to complete the works.

Project 5: Pier D Extension – Dublin Airport.

Client: Project Management Ltd.

Description of Services carried out:

The scope of work in this project was to locate, identify and surface mark all services within a prior agreed area adjacent to the Pier D and to survey the information to produce a marked up drawing of our findings. In the sensitive environment of the airfield there exist many buried utilities such as communication and electrical ducts, drainage pipes and oil pipes. By providing the surveyed information prior to work commencing many incidents of breakages and damage are mitigated.
