Angling: Flowing through Lusmagh and Banagher the River Shannon is

All these water ways provide unbeatable angling. There are great stocks of fish including salmon, trout, bream, tench and perch in abundance. Pike fishing is particularly rewarding The area boasts excellent fishing access and facilities, bait shops and outboard boat hire.
Walking: There are several walking routes in the area including The Offaly Way on the banks of the Grand Canal, The 66km Slieve Bloom Way passes deep glens and beautiful waterfalls.
The Clara Bog, The Lusmagh Bog Walk Lough Boora Parklands allow you to walk on a flat landscape of unbelievable natural beauty and rare animal and plant species. All these walks promises the tranquillity of an unspoiled landscape.
