In physics there is an excercise that shows perfectly how vibrations work. Take a large empty room with two tables at either end, and a tuning fork on each. Both forks are tuned to the same frequency. When one fork is set humming, almost immediately the other fork at the opposite end of the room picks up the vibration and starts humming identically. This is thought to be way vibrational medicines work on people.

Like Paracelsus before him - often referred to as the Father of Modern Medicine - Dr. Edward Bach believed in the healing power of plants and flowers. He thought their essences powerful tools of transformation that work by enhancing the positive aspects of our nature to make us feel well. In his own words: "The action of these Remedies is to raise our vibrations and open up our channels for the reception of our Spiritual Self; to flood our natures with

the particular virtue we need, and wash out from us the fault which is causing harm. They are able, like beautiful music or any glorious uplifting thing which gives us inspiration, to raise our very natures, and bring us nearer to our Souls, and by that very act bring us peace and relieve our sufferings. They cure, not by attacking disease, but by flooding our bodies with the beautiful vibrations of our Higher Nature, in the presence of whom disease melts away as snow in the sunshine".

"To struggle against a fault increases its power, keeps our attention riveted on its presence. To forget the failing and conciously to strive to develop the virtue .... this is true victory". (Heal Thyself. Dr. Edward Bach.)
