Good Afternoon,
I am currently looking for information on the following person Ms Rosa Brady. Sister's Loyla, Maura, Joan, & Una Brady, Mother Molly Brady. I am her youngest daughter of  2 brothers & I was hoping that you maybe able to help us surprise her with some information on her school going years! Perhaps with a year book, or some article that she would of been in, or even some old school reports would be a great, anything to cast back her memories over the years, as she saw her class photo etc on the web site & enjoyed it immensely, reading trough other information & photo's of people from the past where she lived, & the area where she went to school.

If you have any information on the above or can shed any light on where I might find such information I would appreciate it immensely. The web site is great & I enjoyed sitting down with my mother searching trough it, taking her back to her youth, it was a lovely history lesson to learn about my mother childhood.  After all I think we all forget that they once to were children.
Thanking you sincerely

SUBJECT Descendants of Philip Coyle and Bridget Connell
MESSAGE

I am still trying to find out who my ancestors were and I happen to be looking on the Church of Latter Day Saints website because they hold all the records from Ireland re: births, deaths and marriages to help people searching for their ancestors. http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp
Anway unexpectedly I found a Philip Coyle born to a Philip Coyle and Anne Cleary (which is my great-grandfather and his wife). So I searched for any records for people with Philip Coyle and Anne Cleary as parents and I got the following:

Thomas (son) born 17th November 1864, Castlepollard, Westmeath, Ireland.
Patrick (son) born 10th March 1867, Castlepollard, Westmeath, Ireland.
Maria (daughter) born 2nd April 1871, Westmeath, Ireland.
Philip (son) born 2nd August 1874, Westmeath, Ireland.
Matthew (son) born 15th October 1876 Hilltown, Westmeath, Ireland.
Ellen Coyle (daughter) born 21st March 1879, Hilltown, Westmeath, Ireland

These would be brothers and sisters of James Coyle (my grandad). But I can find no records for James. I spoke to dad and he said he cannot remember either a Patrick or a Matthew (I dont know whether they may have died in childhood). But he can remember a John who became a priest and Margaret who became a nun in Glasnevin Convent. I cannot find any mention of Margaret or John either. Anyway I was really pleased with the information I did get and I thought I would keep you informed.

I would be pleased for any information no matter how small. Thanking you again, I love the website its great.

SUBJECT My Dads Old Photo
MESSAGE
I am June Oates daughter of Philip Coyle who used to live at Hilltown, Westmeath, brother to Johnny, Mary, Anne, and Mairead. Philip now lives round the corner from me in Derby, United Kingdom.

I am attaching a school photograph which my father Philip Coyle wants you to add to your site.  The photograph is of Carpenterstown National School, Westmeath and was taken in approximately 1930.

He can name everybody in the photograph although some of the spellings may be wrong.

My mother (nee Bridget Coyle) attended Ballymacree School has anybody got any old school photographs?

Perhaps one day we can visit to see where my husband's ancestors are from. Do you have any guest houses or cottages to let?

MESSAGE Hello,
I have just found you website. My name is Margaret Reilly (nee Margaret Fitzsimons) and both my parents were from Pollakeel, Mount Nugent. My father's name was Peter Fitzsmons and my mother was Julia Lynch they were nextdoor neighbours. I looked at your photos and I think my uncles, Tommy Lynch and Micky Lynch and Mary Lynch (Molly Lee later to be) are in them. I would love to know a bit more about my family and maybe see some photos of them. Both my parents are dead, my mother two years ago and my father in 1987, they moved to Wicklow when they got married and that is where myself and my siblings were born. They were small farmers in Pollakeel, my father was born in 1912 and my mother in 1921. If anyone has any more information I would love to know of same.
