SUBJECT	Xmas Greetings to my long-lost Tuite cousins
MESSAGE	Merry Christmas to my long-lost cousins around Oldcastle. My great grandfather Andrew Tuite was born in Oldcastle around 1837 and emigrated to Australia around 1860. I believe I have established a link into the large Tuite family that still lives in the area but more work to be done to verify. It was wonderful to see the photo of the Ballinacree School in 1950 with all the Tuite names including Sarah and Eileen which are my own daughters names. SUBJECT	AN HISTORIC MEATH RESIDENT IN AUSTRALIA - JOHN MURRAY
MESSAGE	My name is James Gray, I am an American living in Australia and I am working on a memorial presentation for the Australian Memorial Website. www.acwv.info, for an American Civil War veteran and a former resident of Meath, Ireland who died and was buried in Australia. His name was John Murray, he migrated to the United States, enlisted in the 7th U.S. Infantry, fought in the American Civil War in New Mexico and the southwest, survived and migrated to Australia, raised a family and died on August 26, 1908. A memorial plaque from the Veterans Administration was placed on his gravesite in 1992. I am hoping you, or someone you know, can provide me with additional information and perhaps pictures related to him or his home town of that period, that I can use on his memorial presentation. This website is an important tool in remembering these veterans and the Australian authorities have recently seen fit to archive the website in the National Library of Australia; so as to insure these men are never again forgotten. MESSAGE	We just discovered this web site today and found it to be very informative. My father, Peter Browne was from Ballinacree, Co. Meath and came to New York City in 1926. He and my Mom raised five children. He worked at the Ritz Carlton Hotel and the Savoy Plaza Hotel in NYC. He passed away in 1969.
