SUBJECT Tracing my family root
MESSAGE

Good day

I have now traced my family roots back to Old Castle where my 4th great grandfather was born. He was a currier by trade and immigrated
to Canada in 1818. I was hoping that someone could provide some suggestions as to what records might be available that would help me trace my family back further.

Many thanks
Kim

SUBJECT Burials

Dear History Society

I've been trying for some years to find the burial place of my mother's people without any success. I was hoping to find them on your list for Killeigh Graveyard but ,unfortunately ,they are not listed.

My great great great grandfather Matthew Fagan, his wife Eleanor and two sons Peter and Bartle lived at Halfcarton. Matthew died in 1844.

Matthew's daughter Catherine was married to a Thormey at the cornmill at Tully. Her son Peter was thrown from a pony and trap at Tully in 1917 and died.

Matthew's other daughter Margaret had an arranged marriage with a Richard Woods in Dublin. She was my great great grandmother.

If you have any idea at all where these people may be buried or could point me in any direction , I'd be most grateful.

Thank you very much
