Christmas
Present Dilemma?
The
Club are hoping to order Club shorts, Tee shirts and Track suits
for players for Christmas. It is hoped to be able to cover some
of the cost and those wishing to get any of the gear will have
to pay some of the cost. The bigger the order the less cost.
Anyone who would be interested in purchasing any of the above
is asked to contact any member of the committee with his or
her request. We would like to know the numbers as soon as possible
so please let us know.
Kerry
Handball Marathon Day.
The
Handball Board are running a handball marathon to raise funds.
The aim is to have handball played from 10.00am to 10.00pm on
2nd November. Players in various parts of the County will be
taking part in the non-stop County event. It is hoped that members
of the public will drop in to their various handball courts
and see the game being played.
The Handball board has chosen The Alzheimer Society Of Ireland,
Tralee branch as its chosen charity for this event. Proceeds
from the money raised will go to the Tralee Alzheimer society
to help cover the cost of a bus recently purchased. The bus
is used by the Alzheimer society to bring patients to the day
care centre each day. Everyone involved hopes that this will
become an annual event.
Ballymacelligott Handball Club will be playing in the marathon
from m 10.00am to 2.00pm and again from 5.00pm to 10.00pm. Other
clubs will cover the interval in between.
