There are 2 general shops in Spanish Point, one is also the Post Office with the other catering for teas/coffees and Souveniers. Most of your daily items will be available in these. The many types of shops/services available locally are listed below.

Miltown is laid back. Don't expect sharp opening times - or closing times! People are friendly and will be delighted to spend time chatting or asking.... oops!.... answering questions - especially over a pint!
Willie Clancy Summer School begins on the first weekend in July - and goes on for 10 days. You need to book your accommodation way in advance for this time as it is the most popular Irish Traditional Music School in the world.
