I first saw a picture of Percy at the age of four months and had been obsessed by him ever since and when I was allowed to use him
I jumped at the chance with Mavis unfortunately it was not to be. When Olive came into season in December just in time for a show over there
we decided to be brave and try again. Lightning surely couldn't strike twice. Jacob is our pick of boys, Joshua
and Jessica being the rest of the litter. Jacob only managed to get on to the regular show team in July 2007 and
at his first four shows he won the DGS three times, he has always won his class and in 2007 got 5 green stars in a few months of showing
standing many times behind Dean. He also won two BOBs and with each one has a group placing.
He has sired his first litter ex Joy, our American beauty.

In 2008 we brought him out under people we believe would enjoy seeing this magnificent dog and he very quickly got made up into an Irish Champion
and a group placing again.
At the end of 2008 we decided to take him and his sister to England. At Midland Counties, under Nora Price, we were thrilled that he won second in open dog and then
he was called back into challenge for the RDCC and won it! Two weeks later we brought them to the Great Joint Dachshund Association under Pamela Poulter
of the Lankelly Wires and in a star-studded open dog he won it and then staggered us to win the DCC and then finally he beat his sister to BOB.
