How do I Enrol?

To be eligible for enrolment for September 2002 students must be over 12 years on 1^st January 2003 and have completed sixth class in Primary School.

Enrolment and Open Day

The final date for enrolment is Saturday 23^rd March 2002. Students may be enrolled on that day between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.or on any school day before that during school hours. On that day the college invites all prospective students and their parents to view our facilities and discuss subjects/courses with teachers present.

At Enrolment

1. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
2. Birth Certificate (not baptismal certificate) and completed Application form should be brought along.
3. School Transport forms and other necessary information will be provided.
4. Parents will have an opportunity to discuss in confidence any special needs, medical conditions or requirements that students may have.
5. The Book Loan Scheme contribution of 40 Euro and family contribution of 25 Euro can also be paid on that day.

Assessment Tests

All prospective first year students will be required to attend for tests on Saturday 11^th May 2002 from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. The results of these tests will be used to help place students in their classes for September 2002. Assessment will continue during first year to enable classes to be finalised in preparation for the Junior Certificate.

Getting My Textbooks

The Book Loan which operates in the College is designed to reduce the financial burden on parents and will provide you with a full set of textbooks. On payment of the appropriate fee a full set of books for your core subjects will be available for collection in the college on August 28^th from 9.30a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Books relating to other subjects will be issued early in September. Any other materials required may be bought in the bookshop.
