La Mata area information

Our property in La Mata is located midway between Alicante and Murcia airports Approx 30minutes drive from each of these airports. This gives you the best options on cheap flights from both Airlingus and Ryanair. Ryanair fly into both airports, Airlingus fly into Alicante only. We can arrange car hire from either airport.

The property is located 10minutes walk from the peaceful scenic village of La Mata. Everything you would require to make your holiday a relaxing and enjoyable experience you will find in La Mata. There is a huge variety of bars and restaurants along the beautifully decked promenade in La Mata .  There are a range of pharmacies , shops , supermarkets ( supervalu) restaurants ,bars and a local market every Wednesday offering you a wide range of clothes, jewelry, food etc..

Within 5 minutes drive of our property there is a host of fast food restaurants eg Mac Donalds , Burger king , K.F.C to name but a few. There is also a huge leinsureplex  comprising of cinema , bowling , bouncing castles, arcades.

La Mata Beaches

It's hard to talk about La Mata without talking about the excellent beaches, without doubt, some of the best beaches in Spain are in La Mata - the beaches at La Mata have held the European Blue Flag for several years, for cleanliness, water quality and safety.

Torrevieja water park - local to La Mata

Torrevieja water park is one of the biggest water parks on the Costa Blanca, and is very popular with children, teenagers and adults.

You may also hear it referred to as Torrevieja aqua park or Torrevieja aquapolis.

The official name for the water park in Torrevieja is Torrevieja Aquopolis.
