Bujinkan Wexford Dojo
Training in our Dojo
There is a difference between sports martial arts and combat martial arts
We teach the art of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu
which encompasses both ninja and samurai combat methods,
we study the use of timing, distance and whole body movement
with emphasis on the feeling rather than on the particulars of the techniques,
learning natural responses to situations.
Safety in the Dojo is of paramount importance to
both the instructors and the students alike and safety
awareness is constantly instilled in all those who train
with us.
There is very little formality in our classes, You change partners regularly during the class,
We train on a hard wooden floor and you will be taught different methods
for falling safely onto it, this takes time to learn.
Our training focuses on traditional Japanese samurai
and ninja martial arts that offer lessons in unarmed
combat, strikes, kicks, joint locks,
throws as well as traditional weapons.
Egos are not welcome. If you have an ego
and want to throw it around, there are many
other clubs who will gladly take you in.
Students paying dues are expected to place these fees in an envelope, which
will be collected at the beginning of every class. Please make sure your monthly
dues are paid at the beginning of the first class of the month before training begins
Note: The Instructor reserves the right at all times to refuse admission.
All our instructors are registered with
The Japanese Bujinkan Instructors Association "Bujinkan Shidoshi-Kai"
