Kilfenora lies in the heart of the Burren.
The new Burren Display Centre in the village brings to life the fascinating and dramatic story of the region through models, slides, artifacts and information.
Kilfenora has always had music, whether it be fife and drum, brass and reed or ceile band. Music and being musicians was and is of vital importance to all.
Kilfenora is home to the most famous Ceile band in Ireland.
Set dancing takes place on Sunday and Thursday nights.
Kilfenora Cathedral, built about 1189, boasts some of the finest high crosses in Ireland.
The surrounding area is dotted with ring forts, megaliths, holy wells and castles.
