Donadea is about 6km from Clane. The park is situated in the lush pasturelands of Kildare and is fairly typical of demesne landscape. It comprises mixed woodland.

The nature trail is less than 2.5km long and winds through the many man-made natural elements that make up Donadea. There is a short shrubbery trail about 300m long, which has been laid through the collection of trees and shrubs that have been planted in the last century.                   

DONADEA CASTLE

The medieval castle is encased in an early 19^th century ruined mansion. In the church there is a 17^th century tomb. There is a beautiful picnic area around the castle.
