INSTITUTE MENS 1ST XI WIN THE TREATY CUP.

The mens 1st team and seconds team hosted the treaty cup in which the 1st team went on to win it with victory's over bandon ,ucc and galway .

The first match of the morning saw favourites bandon take on the mens 1st team .The outcome of this match was almost guaranteed to be the decider on who would be taking home the Treaty Cup.Within 5 mins the referee was pointing to the penalty spot for an infingement on Aamir Kahn .Aamir stepped up to slot the ball passed the bandon keeper and to give the home supporters something to cheer about . It wasn't long until bandon replied with a goal of there own to bring the sides level and with 5mins to go it looked like it would finish in a draw.With only seconds left institute were awarded a penelty corner which Captain Tommy Pratt scored from to clinch the victory. 

Men's Training Times for 05-06 Season

  TRAINING TIME FOR MENS IS TUESDAYS 8:30-10:00 THURSDAY NIGHT 9:00-10:30.

 

Ladies Pre Season

 

t's that time of year again the dreaded pre-season will commence on the 2nd August in the club at 7pm.   A meeting has also been organized for Thursday 28th of July in the Club with new 1st coach Kevin Fleming. Training on tuesday's starts at 7:00 and on thursday starts at 7:30.

 

The very best of luck to all teams taking part in this years treaty cup, which takes place this saturday from 10:30 in the club .Galway Ucc bandon will all be competing against us for the cup.

Also in action this weekend the ladies travel to cork for a 1 day tournament against other clubs from Munster 's div 1 . the best of luck to all the girls !!!

Institute to Host Treaty Cup...Watch this space for more details. Unfortunately Cork Church Of Ireland were not in a position to send a team to limerick to take part in the treaty cup as weren't cork Harlequins and belvedere.
