Located on the Southern Banks Of the River Lee, in close proximity to the town of Ballincollig, the Park extends over a 130 acre site and includes 18th & 19th century buildings. It is mostly woodland along various water ways and with the choice of routes given one can plan for short or longer walks/jogs. Along the River Lee and it's Lakes there are many other locations well worth a visit such as "Inniscarra Lake","Farran Woods" and "the Woods in by Canon's Cross". |

A signposted walking tour of Cork City .The walk is divided into route - one and route - two, each taking about an hour and a quarter. Route - one covers the flat, modern city centre area built from 1750 onwards. Route - two takes you through the old medieval city from the southern to the nothern hill. A small guide book is available through the local tourist office which adds to the adventure of following the special trail signposts. |
