Where: All along the quay structure.The smaller specimens hug to the quay wall, the larger ones stay further out.
Bait: Mackeral
When: All year round, with larger specimens caught during the colder months i find.
Tackle: 1/0 size aberdeen's

Bait: Peeler/soft crab or Lug worm (although i have seen a 6lber caught on sandeel this winter by the first Bridge)
When: These are winter visitors: november- early march (depending on temperature)

Where: All along the quay structure, your best bet is to hug to the quay wall.The first bridge is excellent for them though
Bait: Mackeral head works best, preferably fresh
When: From may onwards ,they move out around late october. The best time to catch these is after dark
Tackle: 6/0 hooks, 30lb gut. I usually catch them beneath first bridge after dark in the summer with a nylon clothes line :) with a 6/0 size hook, 3oz lead and a mackeral head. I caught my first conger at the first bridge using this method he was about 25lb's.
