Warranty
New Computers and Equipment:
All new computers include a 1-year warranty on both Parts and Labor which is strictly Return to base. Additional warranties may be purchased at time of sale at the cost of €240 per year per Computer. All New equipment includes a 1-year warranty. Additional manufactures warranty may be available, see a sales associate for more information. All repair work and warranty replacements are completed in our office normally within 24 hours. Onsite warranty work is available with the payment of a €80 per hour Charge per callout. Most New computer configurations are available for pick-up in less then 48 hours. Computer systems are available in Black or Beige. Other configurations are available by special order. New computers include a 7-day return privilege minus a 20% restocking fee.
Used Computers and Equipment:
All Used computer systems and equipment do not include a Computerlynx warranty. Used software or software found on a used computer includes no warranty. Most used computers can be upgraded to a 1-year warranty at the time of purchase for €240.This warranty covers hardware only. Used computers come with CPU, keyboard, mouse, speakers and monitor. Used computers normally do not include software unless specified on receipt. Used computers cannot be returned for refund. Bought AS IS, AS SEEN, No Warranty whatsover implied or given on Used Computers or parts, unless you have paid for an extra warranty with Computerlynx. All used computer parts are tested good at Computerlynx, however any parts sold over the counter to be installed by the customer are sold as-is with no warranty.
Repairs and Upgrades:
Diagnostic Service. Simply drop your computer off at our shop and we will perform a complete diagnostic service on your system. There is a fee of €75 which is non-refundable for this service.(Does not actually cover our time diagnosing your Computer which usually takes several hours for a thorough test). During normal workloads we will then call back within a few hours and advise you as to what needs to be done and what the exact repair cost will be. Once we quote you a repair price we stick to it. All new components installed during a repair or upgrade includes a one-year warranty on both parts and labor. (Only applies to new parts).
Abandoned Computers:
Shelf space in the store is limited therefore any computer left for more then 30 days without contact from customer will be sold.
Payment Terms:
Computerlynx accepts cash, Visa, Master Card, with proper ID. We also accept personal and company checks although there is a 10 day wait to clear cheques. If payment is returned due to insufficient funds, stop payment, or any other reason the account will automatically be turned over to collections and you will be responsible for all bank charges, returned check fees, collection fees and any Solicitor's fees.
Data:
Computerlynx is not responsible for data loss under any circumstances. The customer is solely responsible for backing up your data prior to dropping computer off at Computerlynx. Data recovery services offered come with no warranty or guarantee whatsoever.
