Hurling has been played in the area for a number of years at underage but it has really gained in popularity in the past few years. Coaching takes place for the younger groups usually on a Saturday morning. The lads have been very successful within the county winning many titles and representing Sligo particularly at Community Games at provincial level and also in the Cumann na mBunScóil competitions.
