The Under-16 All-Ireland Hurling Final.

Seven of our players featured on the U-16 panel that recently contested the Final.

To reach the final was a great achievement and great credit must go to

Tom Brenan for the trojan work that he has done down through the years with this group of players.

There has been some fantastic performances by our teams last year.
Pride of place must go to the Community Games Teams- both Boys and Girls for their excellent achievements.
Both Teams reached the County Finals and did themselves and the club proud with their magnificant performances.

The Under-10 boys had a Lazarus like performance earlier on in the
competition and continued to dismiss all other opposition on the way to the final.
In the final they were very unlucky to end up as Runners-Up despite having over 70% possession.
This was a great achievement considering the team had to field without 5 key players!Well done to all concerned

The Under -12 Girls played some brilliant football throughout the tournament
and on the day of the Final were forced to field with only 11 (!!) players.
The eleven girls played their hearts out in very tough conditions and were very unlucky to
end up on the wrong end of the scoreline by the narrowest of margins
.

The Under -14Girls .
.

In Hurling our Under-14 gave a great accout of themselves in the
Feile Competition played in Ulster recently. They recorded agreat victory over
host club Castleblaney and also a comprehensive win over Creggan.
Unfortunately they were no match for a very strong Middletown team who
went on to win our Division outright.
This was a great experience for this group who had a very enjoyable week-end in Castlblaney and Belfast.
