(2012) FortheloveofIreland from Wilmington, North Carolina: "We stayed the first two days of our honeymoon here. It was wonderful. We stayed over the barn. It was wonderful....I agree it is a wonderful place full of character! It's scenic, in a good location"

(2011) AlanTMorrison from Naas: "I loved this place. Great location. Great price. Clean. Friendly and accommodating. This place has the most amazing views. We really loved the food this was possibly the most amazing food I and my Wife have ever tasted."

(2011) Stuart_Blakely from London: "We stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved everything about Cullintra House, from the moment we drove up the long driveway till the morning we left after a delicious breakfast. The interior is traditionally furnished with period pieces and some more recent additions. The setting is spectacular with mature trees and fields to the rear of the house sloping upwards....Dinner was spectacular - fresh produce including haddock, vegetables and potatoes from the locality. Our fellow guests were a German professor and her husband who enjoyed their visit so much they had extended it to a week."

(2011) Airgread Europe from Europe: "This is a very lovely and atmospheric 200-year-old family-run farmhouse set in beautiful countryside. The Châtelaine, Patricia Cantlon, was born in this house and now runs the cattle farm. She is an elegant bohemian, naïve artist, and excellent chef. Her home naturally reflects her passions. Alas, there are few Irish character country houses serving excellent food, especially in such undisturbed surroundings."

(2010) Drapier from Dublin: "My third stay at Cullintra - a favourite place. This is not a hotel - it is a very charming family farm and a touch of the real Ireland. If you just want a bed for the night then there a dozens of adequate bland and characterless hotels around. What I really enjoy is the convivial communal dining table, the delicious farm house food, and the charming eccentricities such as an invitation after dinner to climb the private path across the farm up the mountain."

(2009) Phil from Cork: "A group of 8 stayed in Cullintra on my recommendation. It was my third stay. It is a real home, there is no pretence what you see is what you get. No mod cons, no TV , no noise, bliss. Cullintra is a little gem deep in the heart of Kilkenny....The food is good especially the breakfast, local, fresh produce and homemade bread and scones. The rooms are very homey blankets not duvets, full of antiques and art....There is a lovely walk up a hill behind the house. At the top is a great view from the edge of Wicklow to Waterford!"

(2008) Kcdrumguy from Kansas City : "It has been almost a year since linda and i stayed at cullintra house. we are counting the days until we return. yes, it is not on your typical b&b schedule, but is that what it is all about? get up, eat this, get out. by far cullintra house was amongst our most enjoyable stays last year in ireland.... we felt completely welcome to roam the farm, take in the conservatory, and such. patricia could not have been more hospitable towards us. if you would to like to sample ireland beyond the expected, by all means, experience cullintra house."
