Ever been so punch drunk that ye just don't know when to sit down?
Personally
I've been knocked down so many times that at this stage in my life being knocked down along the way is almost expected!
Like a bare knuckle fighter, ye just learn to dust yerself down and get ready for the next brawl, at this point in your life, having developed an immunity to the pain. After you've semi-regained your senses, you're actually looking foward to getting up and doing it all over again. It's like this time you've just learned another lesson and next time u will have it all sussed!
That's exactly what this songs all about and i could have no better anthem for ressurecting my musical career. The song is set in a boxing ring & well if you listen to the lyrics, the rest is very apparent.
Favourite Review
Fine rag-time piano, and subtle horns work well. Sounds like Friday night on Bourbon St., always a good thing. Fine , professional performance here, very polished. The song has deep roots, a very recognizable sound...of greatness. You could sit in with Harry Connick Jr and never miss a beat. Fine lyrical storyline, with professional production. Vocalist is also top notch. Great work guys.

Stone Cold
The song is really about the front us men put up when we don't want to appear emotionally vulnerable.
The song's chorus screams that i'm stone cold and profers how impenetrable the wall we've built around our hearts is but in reality we're possibly even more vulnerable then we'd ever care to admit
But you girls know that anyway! It's a bit like pulling back the curtain on the wizard of oz but from the wizard's perspective.
Favourite Review
Wow, great movement with those awesome horns and keys. This has GROOVE stamped all over it. Great John Cougar vocal style with energy and pizazz(sp?) I love the way the keys and the horns interplay, and the organ fx are incredible mood setters. Piano solo sells it. There's a touch of bayou, a touch of southern old school roots country and a touch of just plain ass kickin' Americana coming at ya from all directions. This tune is a tour de force; fiercely melodical, stylish, vocally emotive and charismatic, with the energy of a fire blazing freight train! There is absolutely not a damn thing you could do to improve this one. Quality mix and mastering, flawless performance, you guys need a contract! All I can say is SHAZAM! We got a hot one here.
