The prize giving for both turkeys
and Christmas Fayres will be held on Saturday December 22nd at
9pm. All winners of prizes are asked to attend.

There will be an E.G.M. held on
Sunday, November 18th at 10:00am. All members are asked to
attend.

The club Turkey competitions will
start next Sunday September 30th at 11am.

The course will be closed on Sunday
September 9th for members and green fees. This is due to the
Regional Qualifying Round of the National Mixed Foursomes.

The club Annual General Meeting (AGM)
will be held on Sunday September 16th. The meeting will commence at 10:30am sharp.

There will be two events to look
forward for all club members this year. On Saturday August 11th there
will be the Annual Club Outing. This year the outing is to Inniscarra.
On December 15th there
will be a Christmas Dinner and Dance. This will be held in Maryborough
House Hotel. If you are interested in going to either of these events you
are to place your name on the sheets on the club notice board.

There will be a Bar-B-Q Presentation
Night on Friday, June 1st. Prior to the Bar-B-Q there will be a
three ball scramble. The presentations of the Club Strokeplay, President’s Prize
and Club Matchplay will all be held on this night. Please note that if you
have won a prize in any of these competitions and don’t show up on the
night then your prize will be forfeited. The 3 Ball will start at around
7pm

The club favourites to win the Cork
County Gents Leagues, the intermediate team, suffered a devastating defeat
in the semi-finals. The team were well-beaten 6 – 3 by Collins.
