HOLE BY HOLE GUIDE

st: The first is a tricky hole to start off with. In front of the green there is a mound and this green slopes from left to right.

nd: This hole is guarded at the front by a large bunker and on either side of the front there are two palm trees. The green is one of the flattest on the course.

rd: A short tee shot that requires a lot of accuracy. This green is slightly protected by a tree that over-hangs the fairway. The green also has a ridge that runs across it at the front.

th: The fourth hole is one of the toughest on the course. The green slopes front back to front and anything short will end up in the sand.

th: The fifth hole is a dangerous hole. In front of the green there is a mound. To the right of the green there are three palm bushes and to the left of the green runs a deep trench.

th: This hole is not for the weak at heart. Along the right hand side is a row of trees and to the left there is out of bounds. At the back of the green there is also danger with wasteland waiting for over hit shots.

th: This up hill shot is a very tricky one. The green is guarded by a bunker at the front and the green itself slopes from back to front.

th: The shortest shot on the course is a tough one also. This green runs severely from back to front so anything long of the green and you've got an awkward shot back.

th: This fairly straightforward shot has its difficulties. The green runs from back to front and just over the green is a thick grass bunker.

th: This shot is played up the hill. It is a hole with danger all around, especially the grass bunker at the front.

th: A very hard hole. A bunker and mound protect the front while at the back there is a large drop which means par is a good result for any player on this hole.

th: One of the longer on the course and one of the toughest. This hole is played severely uphill and with two bunkers guarding the front it spells danger all around it.

th: Unlucky for some? It is, with the longest green on the course that slopes greatly from back to front is guarded by a tree on the left hand side on the green.

th: This green is protected by a mound at the front of it and anything long of this green and your ball is in thick rough.

th: The signature hole of Douglas is played downhill. At the back of the green is out of bounds and to the left of the green there is a deep trench running parallel to the green.

th: The longest hole on the course and the toughest by far. This long uphill shot is played to the smallest green on the course.

th: This is probably the easiest hole on the course. The one danger is that if you land too far off the back you have a chip down a severe bank.

th: The finishing hole at Douglas carries with it a lot of dangers. A large bunker guards the front of this hole. At the right side of this green there is a steep drop. The green also has a ridge running through the middle of it.
