| After their Junior Certificate year, students have the option of taking a Transition Year. Transition year students have a varied curriculum designed to enhance their skills and to give them opportunities to explore extra subjects and options free from the constraints imposed by the pressure of exams. Their curriculum includes: Irish, English, Maths, Computer Studies & Information Technology, Modern Languages( French, German and Spanish), Environmental Studies, Science, Art, Craft and Design, Religious studies, Drama, Music, Career Guidance, Business Studies, Advanced Cookery and Home Decor, Physical Education, Legal Studies and Information Skills. It also includes modules in First Aid, Beauty and Skin Care, Irish Dancing and Interior Design.
