   NEWS:

• Fenloe Portfolio update
  Following on from a shaky period, the Fenloe Portfolio is now looking stronger again, boosted by the sale of Edinburgh Oil and Gas; these shares were bought at 14p each, and sold at 26p.
  The decision taken to dump our Eircom holdings proved correct, as the price has since fallen further. See latest portfolio value. Also, please take note of the stocks to research in time for the next meeting (on the portfolio page).
• Independent Media Group one to watch
  Initial reports would suggest that our thoughts regarding the Independent Media Group as a possible performer were correct. Its recent movements in the Internet service provider sector, and intentions to step up its e-commerce interests have aided the share price. Also, the appointment of Tony O'Reilly has increased interest in the group. We will monitor the situation and discuss our intentions at the next meeting.
• Christmas minutes & festive drinks
  The minutes from our last meeting of 1999, from the 21st of December were posted out to members, and you should have recieved them by now.
