Administration and handling costs are practically eliminated and the system provides support for permits including residents, seasonal, business & trading. mPARK Permit Manager can be implemented as an off-the-shelf solution or as a managed service and includes web-based permit processing, renewal & payment forms. Permits issued by Permit Manager are validated using handheld terminals. Permit data is regularly downloaded from the Permit Manager to the handheld terminals and permits are validated by scanning barcodes printed on the front of the permits or keying in permit issue numbers. Transponder/RFID permit solutions are also supported. The system can work with existing handheld terminals or supplied as part of an overall solution.
