Single Review:

Artist: 50 Cent ft nate dogg
Track: 21 Questions
Our verdict 7/10

The follow up to 50's "in Da Club", 21 Questions is a nice fresh track with an irregular down-tempo beat. In the track 50 asks, "would you love me if i was down and out....", showing off his smooth side, which provides a bit of a change from his Hard-man image.

Artist: Sean Paul
Track: Get busy
Our verdict 8/10

When Sean Paul first came on the scene, he was only really recognised in the reggae community. As soon as he released "Gimmie The Light", it was clear to most that he was soon to have major commercial success. The second track from the album, "Get Busy", is no exception. This tune is a phat summer tune with all the trimmings. If the first time you hear it and you don't get the contagious head nod, i advise that you go and have a CAT scan.

Artist: Wayne Wonder
Track: No letting go
Our verdict 9/10

One of the best tracks i have heard in 2003, "No Letting Go" is one of those tracks that after hearing it, you will either love it or loathe it. Taken from his 9th album, "No Letting Go", has taken the club scene by storm as well as getting regular play on Freedom. Like Sean Paul, Wayne is no new-comer to the music business but it looks like he will have some huge success in the next few months and years.

Album Review:

Artist: Fabolous
Album: Sweet dreams
Our verdict 7/10

The long awaited follow up to Ghetto Fabolous, this album is HOT! Featuring a star studded album is just as important to the music industry as it is to the film industry and with featured artists such as, Missy, Ashanti and Mary J Street Dreams has done just that. The best thing about this album is that very little has changed in his style. A definite must have for any lovers of Fabolous' style.

Artist: Busta Rhymes
Album: It aint safe no more
Our verdict 7/10

There is not really allot to write about this album because, well....its Busta Rhymes! The speedy rapper has managed to pull a more commercial audience in with tracks like, "Pass The Courvoisier" and "Make It Clap" but he still has the old style that many true Hip-Hoppers appreciate. The only way I could fault this album is..................Mariah Carey, nuff said I think!

Artist: Sean Paul
Album: Dutty Rock
Our verdict 7/10

Sean Paul first blew us away last year with “Gimmie The Light” and just when the track was getting a little old, he incorporated Busta Rhymes into the remix to give the tune a new lease of life. With Raggae music only really developing in this country, Sean Paul is up there with Beenie man. There are some sweet tracks on the album like, “Can You Do The Work” feat Cecile, Punky and My name as well as the remix of “Gimmie The Light”. I see big things happening for this young man, especially if the reggae trend continues to grow.
