The Olympus E10, the once top of the Oly line and a camera I had for 19 months and some 27,000 exposures.

Despite several problems with this machine, not least was Oly's silence and price beating feature stripping design, my E10 stands in June 2003 as the most productive and profitable camera I've ever had (so far)

Unfortunately as time went on and the digital business was exploding with client's digital expectations rising faster than new cameras were delivered the shortcomings from the the E10 started to lose me business so it became a back up to the D1x.

Sadly a role it was ill suited to as the peculiarities of the E10 demanded a unique shooting technique so it was replaced for a D100 as soon as it was available.

It proved a rather special wedding camera but was not good with low winter light or severly overcast days, the E10 likes light very much so I eventually dubbped it a "fair weather" camera.
