Fashion Shows...

Can be boring, time consuming and largely fruitless...
These shots all found outlets and attracted the biggest interest of any fashion items by a margin. There were many enquiries about reprints and a few orders.
Two shows are represented here. One is an in-house fashion parade through the store - Browne Thomas Spring/Summer collection and Enable Ireland fundraiser. One used a traditional ramp whilst the models parade through rows of seated audience throughout the store. Very effective actually.
These shots were taken with the Olympus E10 on normal setting, full resolution and 1/8th compression. The aperture throughout was F4 and the shutter speed varies from 1/8th ~ 1/15th with a maximum speed used of 1/130th for the floorwalkers.

The ramp shots needed a much faster shutter because the show's spots were very bright and models on the ramp tend to walk faster. For these shots 1/250sec was used.

A Nikon Flashgun SB 25 (or 26) was used throughout set to aperture priority.
