when renting a domain names weather it (.com.net.ie.co.uk or .org) keep this in mine

• try to get a domain with name of your business(www.yourbusinessname.com) or (www.yourbusinessname-online.com)
• rent domain names from business you trust (esat.net,eircom,indigo ect....) and not one day dot com company that could be out of business next week
• ask a friend advice or someone you trust on how to go about renting a domain name and from which provider
• don't make your domain name longer then it has to be, keep it short
• for international business pick .com/.net for Irish business pick .ie
• .com are easy to buy but hard to find the right domain, .ie are harder to buy but easy to find the right domain
