 These are Puppet Shows with a difference, it is a Soap Opera, encompassing the four seasons, the environment, wildlife, the weather, Irish language, Celtic folklore, human relationships, comedy and Sean’s own life. The story is always moving and changing with the time of year, and audiences it is being performed for.

Imbolg 1st February-spring is now taking the throne, after the long, wet and cold winter. But winter has a very special friend; polaria, a new evil wind from the north. Together they conspire to keep spring from the throne and have winter forever! Cockie and hen are arguing about whether to build a nest or not, cockie believes his mother would be building her nest this time of year, while henny knows it is too early. Hare and badger miss their friend the fox, but he is not playing because he misses the sun and won’t come out and play until it shines… Bealtine 1st May-spring is now working very, making everything and bringing new life to everyone. The green man is also working hard in the woods and forest, he feels that if himself and spring work together, they would be very powerful indeed and get a lot more done! Spring has other ideas and wants to stay independent. There is a stray lamb looking for a mother, but hare has her own and can’t help. Cow then breaks the news that she borrowed a few days off winter and now has to pay them back! Spring is too weak to fight winter on her own, if only she worked with the green man; she could fight winter and win… Solstice June 21st-The longest day of the year and summer has really a lot to do! All the animals are terrorised by these strange new G.M. plants that not even Mother Nature can stop, but she creates a mean lean eating machine, hoping to stop them… Autumn Equinox September 21st-Autumn is here and starts working to gently get everyone ready for the coming winter. He meets summer and falls in love with her and wants her to stay with him, but cannot tell her how he feels, so he asks the animals to convey the message. Winter’s daughter thorn has her own plans for autumn and does her best to break them up… Samhain November 1st-Henny has her apples gathered and trying to keep them safe is proving very hard indeed. Badger is being haunted by a very strange tree- the Celtic tree of power bile buadha-winter is getting ready to take over the throne, but autumn has to put one caterpillar to bed and then his is done… Solstice December 21st -Winter is getting ready to celebrate his longest night. Old woman snow has promised him plenty of snow and he is gathering his allies, and planning to increase his power as but a few things go a cropper and his plans fall apart…

show could be concerned with Spring trying to get the throne from Winter,
who has Polaria ( a nasty piece of wind ) on his side. Cockie and Hen
might be arguing about whether to build a nest or not, Fox could be
suffering with S.A.D. syndrome, Winter could be plotting to take over the
world, or Summer could be tending her special garden. Mother Nature gives
her wisdom to the little people and animals who live in Glitter Na Gig.
