Rated as one of the finest parkland courses in Munster, Monkstown golf course has been in existence since 1908. It only was expanded to an 18 hole course back in 1972. The introduction of new bunkers and a number of water features in the early ninties has made the course even a greater but rewarding challange. Water hazards are especially previlant on the back nine, making it a difficult finish.
