Situated just minutes from the town of Midleton and about a twenty minute drive from Cork City. Designed by professional golf course architect Paddy Merrigan to the highest of standards on the banks of the Owenacurra River. The sand based greens and tees ensure golf year round. The feature hole on the course is the spectacular 240yard par3 12th hole which requires a tee shot over Swan lake to a bunkerless green. Water hazards come into play mainly on the back nine and added to the many sand traps, there is no doubt that Water Rock provides a challenging but rewarding test of a golfers abilities.
