Drumboe Wood.

Heavy rain for most of the day.

A new hoverfly for me - Cheilosia illustrata. Initially it reminded me very much of Leucozona lucorum.

Another new Amanita - Amanita citrina. I'd like to get a shot when it's more mature.

Another new fly mine - Phytomyza spondylii - on Hogweed. The puparium can be clearly seen.

This red spider attracted my attention. It was busily making a web in between being disturbed by the camera.

A bad sign: Himalayan Balsam seedpods. These explode vigorously when touched, leading to another of its common names: 'Touch-me-not'. I made sure these pods won't mature.
