Drumboe Wood.

Dull with showers.

In April I showed the pupae of Cerodontha sylvatica - the first Irish sighting , and the first of a handful in Ireland and UK combined. The same specimen of Luzula sylvatica is now showing active larvae from this year's generation. I suppose they don't pupate until early next year. It would be interesting to note when that happens, since it would be the first record of such an event.

The nearest I can find for this is Clitocybe nebularis. Spores oval and smooth, 6 x 3.
