The most obvious insect remaining is the Blowfly - they still buzz around investigating anything that moves.

The seedheads of the Nipplewort are now empty, and the brittle stems are all breaking down. No new growth visible, yet. |
Tubaria furfuracea is usually associated with Hawthorn. Cap about 2.5 cm. across. |
