A couple of fungi from the Beltany excursion.
Frequent heavy showers.
An Agaric with a flaked cap about 12 cm.across. Flesh blushing slightly pink on exposure to air. Gills pink at first, turning brown/black. The closest I can find is Agaricus augustus.
A group of pale, rubbery brackets about 15 cm.across. The tops of the brackets were well-eaten by larvae of some kind. On Elm, I think. Polyporus squamosus.
