Thiudium tamariscinum is very 'clean' at this time of year. I haven't examined these closely enough to find their reproductive structures. |
Watercress has just appeared in the ditch bottom. Rorippa nasturtium-aquatica. |
And Bilberry has been quietly producing new buds for a few weeks now. Vaccinum myrtilus.

The back wall of the ditch is covered with this thalloid liverwort. No fruiting bodies, so I can't choose between Lunularia and Marchantia. Educated guess? Lunularia cruciata, based on location. |
