Original Hedgerow, leg 1.

Bright but cold.

Thiudium tamariscinum is very 'clean' at this time of year. I haven't examined these closely enough to find their reproductive structures.

Watercress has just appeared in the ditch bottom. Rorippa nasturtium-aquatica.

And Bilberry has been quietly producing new buds for a few weeks now. Vaccinum myrtilus.

The back wall of the ditch is covered with this thalloid liverwort. No fruiting bodies, so I can't choose between Lunularia and Marchantia. Educated guess? Lunularia cruciata, based on location.
