Local garden.

Heavy sleet and hail showers, which abruptly halted my visit.

Last year's Bramble leaves have these very pronounced purple Phragmidium violaceum fungi on the underside. They are visible on the upper surface as purple blotches.

I'd like this set of steps in my garden. They lead down to a stream which must have Kingfishers...The ferns to the right are Hard Shield Fern - Polystichum aculeatum.

This would make a good quiz picture. The leaves on the flowering parts of Ivy are much more rounded than the usual 3-lobed leaves.
