Coniferous plantation.

 

Sun and blue sky all day, but cool in the shade.

First frogspawn of the year. That's actually ice on the top surface. I wonder if it's frost-proof.

Baeomyces rufus continues to attract me with those tiny (3mm) fruit bodies. The sample on the right appears to have some blackening due to a (probably fungal) parasite.

    

A new fungal rust on Ivy. The second shot shows the sporing structures in transmitted light.
