22nd February

Local waste ground and Drumboe.

Sun and blue sky all day, but cool in the shade.

The Coltsfoot - Tussilago furfara - is now fully open, and is making yellow tufts on verges and waste ground.

I was passing Drumboe and managed this single shot of Wood Sage leaves. It will be quite some time before these plants are in flower.
