High deforested area.

 

Coldest night of the winter: -3 celsius.

It's interesting that some plants seem to form dew whilst others don't. I suppose it must be based on the attributes of the exposed surfaces (hairiness, chemical composition, etc.) Fairy Flax - Linum catharticum - always forms more dew drops than most.

 

A little (1 cm.) bracket on the end of a log. I have no idea what this is.

The camera had great difficulty focussing on this specimen, but the temperature was below the operating recommendations for both the camera and myself.
