The images of Cerodontha sylvatica from yesterday's trip to Drumboe.

 

Dull and cold.

This in-situ shot shows the orange puparium inside the leaf mine towards the base of the leaf.

The mine runs the length of the Woodrush leaf from tip to base. Mine length shown 25 cm.

Pupa is about 3 mm. long. The tiny diagnostic spiracles can be seen to the top left.
