Steeple Wood.

 

Sunny then torrential rain. This weather pattern is becoming very familiar.

A new moss that looks like one of the Mniaceae. Much more robust than Mnium hornum, with quite transparent leaves.

    

A couple of flowers of Bilberry - Vaccinum myrtillus. I photographed these on April 1st last year, so they're right on schedule.

    

 

While I was down photographing the Mnium, I spotted this tiny (5mm cap) mushroom. Maybe a Galerina.

 

And I always check this Cladonia to see if it has fruit bodies. Group shown about 12 mm tall.
