Original Hedgerow, leg2.

Early sun, then torrential rain and hail. Ring any bells?

I was expecting this Wood Sorrel - Oxalis acetosella - to be out in its usual early location, and wasn't disappointed.

The Dog Violet - Viola riviniana - caught me by surprise, though.

The next two images show the blunt spur with its characteristic 'notch'. The spur is usually a cream colour, so I'll show the more usual ones when they appear.

Barren Strawberry  - Potentilla sterilis - is later than I expected.
