Sunny and hot after an early frost.
I haven't seen too many ladybirds yet this year, but it's still early days. 7-spot ladybird - Coccinella 7-punctata.
Two shots of the fungal rust infection Uromyces dactylidis on Lesser Celandine. The photomicrograph is at x 40.
This is a mystery photograph which I will reveal in a couple of days. The red shoot is about 3 cm. tall and appears to be growing vertically upward from moss-covered rock. Suggestions/guesses on Feedback.
The only clue I will give is that it's alive and the photograph is correctly orientated.
